We're going to make this coloring

1. First we start with the base. Sharpen your base.

2. Duplicate your base and set the blend opacity to soft light 60%

3. Add a curves layer with these advanced settings:
RGB input 68 output 85
Red first dot - input 105 output 109
second dot - input 200 output 182
Green first dot - input 118 output 109
second dot - input 178 output 185
Blue first dot - input 93 output 83
second dot - input 181 output 202

example of these settings

4. Add a selective color layer with these settings :
Reds 0 +20 -20 0
Yellows 0 -32 -26 0
Neutrals 0 0 0 +10
Blacks 0 0 0 +20

5. At last I added a photo filter layer. I used filter deep blue and density 15% and preserve luminosity on. You can use another photo filter if it looks better on your image.

If needed you can duplicate your base and set it on screen 40% or what best looks with your base

2. Add a curves layer with these settings:
RGB
First dot - input 65 output 79
Second dot - input 175 output 184

3. Add a hue/saturation layer and put Saturation on +30
You can lower the saturation or skip this part.

4. Now we add a color layer. Choose color #f3ff00 and put the blending options on Soft Light 100%

5. Add a selective color layer. Use these settings :
Reds -80 +20 0 +100
Yellows 0 +20 -30 0
Neutrals +80 -20 -70 0

6. Add another selective layer with these settings :
Reds -100 +40 0 +100
Yellows 0 0 -40 0
Neutrals -25 0 -15 +20

7. Add another hue/saturation layer with these settings :
Saturation +10
Lightness +10

I was making something for my alternative msngroup and made an animation of the band Metallica. It turned out pretty great if I say it myself :P It was meant for on a layout but it didn't turned out that great. The quality got messed up, grrrr hate when that happens. Oh well saved the animation anyways :)
